The Court Clerk as an elected official files and maintains all court records for Creek County. The Office is also in charge of maintaining all statistics regarding the filing and disposition of all cases and also collects statutory fees, fines and forfeitures and distributes the collections to the appropriate agencies as prescribed by law. It is also the duty of the Court Clerk to oversee the jurors.

The Office must follow the procedures prescribed by the Oklahoma Supreme Court, Court Administrator's Office and the State Auditor and Inspector. The Oklahoma Supreme Court oversees the operation of the office.

The Creek County Court Clerk's Office has two (2) divisions. The main office is located on the 2nd floor of the Creek County Courthouse in Sapulpa with the other division located in Bristow. Among the types of cases handled are: civil, small claims, probate, domestic, criminal, traffic, marriage licenses and other licenses.
