1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman
2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman
4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on May 6, 2024.
5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.
6. Discussion and possible action of new business. (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)
7. Consider and adopt a resolution relating to the incurring of indebtedness by the trustees of the Creek County Educational Facilities Authority for the benefit of Independent School District No. 2, Creek County, Oklahoma (Bristow public schools); authorizing the sale of revenue obligations; waiving competitive bidding with respect thereto and related matters.
8. Discussion and possible action to consider allowing a road closure for Tulsa Tough bicycle traffic to travel through Creek County, June 8, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on West 86th Street South. Map is available in meeting and at the Commissioners' Office.
9. Discussion and possible action to consider signing Proclamation for National Police Week, beginning Sunday, May 12 through Saturday, May 18, 2024 - Bret Bowling, Sheriff.
10. Discussion and possible action to consider allowing the Sheriff's office to use the Courthouse parking lot on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for the Creek County Law Enforcement Memorial Service.
11. Discussion and possible action to consider approval or disapproval of Inter-cooperative agreement with Creek County Rural Water District #5 for the remainder of the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
12. Discussion and possible action to sign an OG&E conditions for Construction/Installation agreement for property located at 114 South Oak Street in Sapulpa.
13. Discussion and possible action to open and award bids for commonly used items, bid #24-19.
14. Discussion and possible action to let for sealed bid for the 3-month asphalt and emulsions products and services, bid # 24-21.
15. Discussion and possible action to let for sealed bid for the 6-month bridge and highway materials and professional services, bid #24-22.
16. Discussion and possible action to consider directing the Creek County Treasurer to credit the Creek County Sheriff's Maintenance and Operations account (0001-2-0400-2005/B2) with funds from ACCO in the amount of $3,626.63 from ACCO as reimbursement for damages to a sheriff vehicle which occurred on March 27, 2024, as per 62 O.S. § 335, and procedures implemented by the State Auditor's Office.
17. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from Oklahoma Gas and Electric to parallel Veterans Memorial Drive approximately 0.81 mile west of the Veterans Memorial Drive and US 66 junction in District #3.
18. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.
- Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.
19. PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (per 25 O.S. § 307(B)(4)): Discussion of confidential communications between the Board, the County Assessor, and the District Attorney's Office concerning a claim against the Office of the County Assessor that upon advice of counsel, disclosure of which will seriously impair the ability of the County to process the actions in the best interest of the public: Unauthorized Use of Image (Case 002-224475), from Pixsy Case Management on behalf of Marco Verch.
20. Discussion and any possible action of the Board regarding the claim: Unauthorized Use of Image (Case 002-224475), from Pixsy Case Management on behalf of Marco Verch.
