 AGENDA

 

 

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL - Chairman

 

2. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING ACT - Chairman

 

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION - Chairman

 

4. Discussion and possible action in consideration of approval or disapproval of prior meeting minutes for meeting held on July 22, 2024.

 

5. Discussion and possible action to consider, review, approve, or disapprove pending purchase orders for: the general, highway, health, cash accounts and community development block grant funds; transfers; monthly appropriations; emergency purchase orders; various county officers' contracts; monthly reports and various contracts and change orders. The Verification Report on all purchase orders being paid is available for public inspection during the meeting. For questions, please see the County Clerk.

 

6. Discussion and possible action of new business.  (In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. § 311, new business is defined as any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen within 24 hours of time of posting this agenda.)

 

7. Discussion and possible action regarding changing the fee schedule for the planning and zoning office - Wendy Murray, Planning Office.

 

8. Discussion and possible action to consider signing the FY 2024 Opioid Abatement Grant Award Agreement between the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General and the Board of County Commissioners.

 

9. Discussion and possible action to consider signing contracts for services individually between Creek County and the following agencies for the FY 2024 Opioid Abatement Grant Award:

  • Family and Children's Service
  • LifeGate Freedom Recovery Ministries
  • Human Skills & Resources, Inc.
  • CREOKS Mental Health Services
  • Youth Services of Creek County

 

 10. Discussion and possible action to consider signing contract with the State of Oklahoma Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for development and implementation of certain evidence-based programs through the "County Community Safety Investment Fund".

 

11. Discussion and possible action to consider signing agreement between the Creek County Ambulance Service and Creek County for ambulance service at the Creek County Fairgrounds.

 

12. Discussion and possible action to consider signing the Cooperation and Payment in Lieu of Taxes Agreement with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation on behalf of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Housing and the Creek County Board of County Commissioners.

 

13. Discussion and possible action to consider directing the Creek County Treasurer to credit the Creek County Sheriff M&O account (1223-2-0400-2005/SSF7) with a check from ACCO in the amount of $890.00 as reimbursement for hail damages to a sheriff vehicle due to a storm, which occurred on May 21, 2024, as per 62 O.S. § 335, and procedures implemented by the State Auditor's Office.

 

14. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from FiberLink, LLC to parallel South 177th West Avenue to South 106th West Avenue along South 106th West Avenue to South 193rd West Avenue, then across and parallel South 193rd West Avenue south to West 111th Street South starting at South 177th West Avenue and West 101st Street South in District #2 for 60 days.

 

15. Discussion and possible action to consider approving a utility permit request from FiberLink, LLC to parallel South 177th West Avenue starting at West 91st Street South and traveling south to West 101st Street South in District #2.

 

16. Discussion and possible action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds directed to Creek County by the federal government.

  • Discussion and possible action to consider using ARPA funds on road and bridge projects.
